Good morning Jennifer! Hey, I looked up "posterity" in the "American Dictionary of the English Language," Noah Webster, 1828: POSTER'ITY, n. [Fr. posterite'; L. posteritas, from posterus, from post, after.] 1. Descendants; children, children's children, &c. indefinitely; the race that porceeds from a progenitor. The whole human race are the posterity of Adam. 2. In a general sense, succeeding generations; opposed to ancestors. "To the unhappy that unjustly bleed, Heav'n gives posterity t' avenge the deed." ~Pope
Awww how nice! :)

ReplyDeleteSo -- I'm saving those hand prints so my grandchildren can see them. ;) Wouldn't that be fun?
We poured wet cement over the last families initials... don't tell them. My mommy heart felt bad about that... my dh's manly heart didn't give a hoot!
THAT is awesome!!!
ReplyDeleteNow you can measure their growth in the coming years (for teens, weeks)! :-)
