This week Dan ordered me a Bosch mixer.
hooray!!
I got the blender for thrown in for free.
So I'm replacing my old Wal-Mart cheapie. YEAH!
We got some bread pans too.
The old kitchen aid made 2 loaves at a time... so I had 4 pans... I could have 2 raising while 2 were cooking LAST WEEK.
This week -- I put 8 pans in the oven at once.
Sigh... Out with the Old... in with the New!

OK, I LOVE my Kitchenaid and use it constantly. Sounds like the mixer is better??? How so? I've heard of them, but don't know anything about them.

ReplyDeleteMy KA really was a work horse, and served our family for many years... but... the BOSCH will do 4 times the amount. I tried once to do 3 loaves of w.w. bread in her... and she did protest... broke a gear. But they are such good machines, that my dh repaired it and we lasted another year.
ReplyDeleteSo -- I'm not a KA basher, but just... well... it doesn't compare when now I can do 8 loaves of w.w. bread at once. It's amazing. Those Germans... they know their mixers. ;)
8 loaves would have taken me 4 hours... not it takes me 1. WOW!

ReplyDeleteMy dh just bought a Bosch dishwasher because we fried the other one getting ready for a barbecue. I died the same day as the hot water heater, and fortunately all the hot water heater needed was a new timer.
EIGHT LOAVES OF BREAD AT ONCE! WOW!
Wonderful I am so excited for you! I absolutely love mine. I still use my Kitchen Aid for cookies, meringue and other things but nothin' makes a mega batch of bread like the Bosch. I remember when Drew told me he was getting me one. Said a baker like myself needed the proper equipment after all he had a table saw. . . I was (and continue to be) thrilled with the Bosch.
