We recently had a storm -- and the wind blew -- and the chimney did NOT withstand. The frame that holds it in place is bent.
So - we put up some scaffolding.
And gathered our helpers.
Recruited some haulers.
Some more helpful then others.
And got to work. Actually we mostly stood around and watched Dan work -- but that's par for the course around here... just ask him.
I did get to go to the top and hand him a nut or too.
Did I get a photo of the finished project? No...
But it's done.
Whew... now we'll be set for another year of burning wood for heat.
Praise the Lord.
