Some List

I recently read a blog that was a list. She listed 25 things. Things I pray I never have to experience, because it is things in her life that are true to her because she lost her precious baby in a horrible accident.

I only know Rachel through the inter-net, but I pray for her like I pray for my in-real-life sisters in Christ in my church. Fervently, real, and lovingly.

I'm sharing her list with you so that you can glean from her. Learning from her instead of experiencing it yourself. Use her list as a tool to minister to others! That's what I'm going to do... and it helps me know how to pray for her in a more effective manner!

It's Official

I said I wasn't going to weigh every day. LOL

Well -- I lied.

AND it's official

I've gained 2 pounds on my South Beach diet this week. Started yesterday -- gained 2. Must have been that silly 1/2 baked potato that I forgot about and put on my plate. So of course I ate it.

Hmm... I'll keep you posted.

Unless I don't want to. Diets are depressing. Ü

I'm going grocery shopping tomorrow.

It's supposed to snow tomorrow.

My dear daughter is going on a winter retreat tomorrow.
She will love the snow

I will miss her.

I've measured - and am going to try to do South Beach again this grocery cycle.
I don't really care to weigh...
I might die of heart failure.

Ohh... I can't wait!!

I'm due to get the entire 2nd Season of THE OFFICE from Swap-A-DVD. Woo Hoo!! (Old hat.. I know... but it'll be new to me).

Winter is so dull around here... I'm looking forward to some OFFICE TALK! Plus -- I need to get in shape... I hope to laugh my gut off. Think it will work?

Prayers for Tyler

My nephew Tyler C. could use your prayers.

He was riding his bike, and somehow flipped over him handle bars. He broke his noggin. After surgery (they inserted a plate), he is disappointed that he has to miss baseball try outs today. Typical 12 year old boy.

His parents need some sleep... they could use prayer too.

We love you Chris and Genell. Trevor and Ann... we will pray for you too as you will probably end up with Tyler's chores for the next few... days...weeks probably. Ü

She's 13... what can I say?

I really tried.

I did.

I tried, and tried, and tried to get her to smile like the other kids were.

It's just like pulling teeth... I hope she grows back into smiling!!
Well -- she smiles... just not much for the camera.

Our 14th Anniversary

It came and went -- did you notice?? It was the 4th... sort of the middle of the week...

We celebrated... I'll tell you more about that later.

14 years... can you believe I've been married 14 years??

Why oh why did I have so many children? This really is not easy!

If I printed every single picture that I ever took of them... I'd have to buy a storage shed for my photos!!
