Burns

I burned my arm with grease the other day. I scrapped off one of the blisters while getting dressed. So today that one blister looks red around it... is it getting infected?

I'll have to take a photo of my arm so you can see the neat pattern it made. Knowing my skin it will really scar like crazy.

So - speaking of scars... anyone have a good treatment for scars -- to make them less noticeable? Just wondering.

  1. Once it's fully healed you can use Mederma and I've had great results with that. I've heard that squeezing a Vitamin E capsule and massaging that in also works. :)

  2. Oh, I'm so sorry! That's so painful! That happened to my mom a while back and I think she blogged about it. I can't remember what she used to help it heal. I'll have to ask her.

  4. My arm seems to be getting better. THANKS for the advice!! The one blister that got scrapped open is now scabbed. the rest are just turning brown.

Lisa -- I went and read your mom's blog... she loves you. Ü
