Man oh man were those kids, myself and my kids so fortunate. Jan and Dan were prepared. They had the wonderful wood burning stove that is connected to the furnace. Jen had just done her grocery shopping for a month. Jen got up around 5 a.m. on Tuesday morning anticipating the electricity going off and fixed a wonderful hot breakfast and the electricity went off around 8:45 a.m. Dan got a generator from his brother and all the gas and oil to go with it. I was very impressed and so thankful to be with them during the ice storm. God is so good!! Thanks Johnston family for the fun memories.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3476057407834260026.post-55632009670486853722007-12-14T14:38:00.000-06:002007-12-14T14:38:00.000-06:00Glad all is well.
